It is not permissible to leave seclusion for the mentioned reason, and one’s seclusion is terminated by leaving the sanctuary of the mosque. There is no expiation for it unless the seclusion was obligatory, such as a vowed seclusion, in which case one resumes their seclusion by fulfilling what they vowed.
