Medications that reduce pain often contain narcotics and substances that alter perception. Whether they are extracted from marijuana or other substances, taking them is referred to the patient’s need for the medication and its negative impact compared to its anticipated benefits. Considering reports that suggest a low risk of addiction to marijuana, there is no objection to using this medication.
